Ellie Tran was a young mutant with a dinosaur-like appearance. After being bullied by some kids at school, she reached out to her cousin Thao, so that she could help her stand up for herself. However, when Thao paid her a visit the following day, she ended up embarrassing Ellie even more, leading her to seek out a cure to her condition.[1]
