History

Elmer Strange was a robot created by Arcade. When Arcade unleashed the Loonies on Excalibur, Kitty Pryde took control over several of his inactive robots. This included Elmer Strange, who alongside the rest of the Merry Maladies, attacked and destroyed the Loonies.
