History
The Embers of Genesis were formed from the nutrient-rich cosmic dust of an ancient supernova. Thru came into the possession of the most ruthless kingpin in the intergalactic underworld, The Collector. To use the Embers for the good of the galaxy, Lady Nebula recruited Star-Lord and his Ravagers for a heist. During the escape Nebula used a small amount of the Embers to save Thanos from Cull Obsidian and terraformed Knowhere in the processes.[1]
