History

Emerson Bale was one of the world's finest legal minds, representing senators, sports stars, and millionaries, including the the parents of Warren Worthington III, the X-Man known as Angel. After they died, Bale handled the inheritance, including fighting off other relatives who tried to keep the money from him because of his hero activities[1].

He was hired by Worthington to defend Stuart Clarke AKA Rampage after he was defeated by the Champions, but Stuart refused help[2]. He also became the Champions' official lawyer, even though he was quite frightened of the Ghost Rider[3]. He also defended Brian DeWolff who had been under mental control of his father Phillip.[4]
