History
When Enid Richards' brother Reed was 11, she caught him telling his friend Ben Grimm that he had discovered another dimension and planned to visit one day. Threatening to tell their father that she caught Reed doing experiments in the garage again, Enid made Reed promise to take her along when he went. Shortly afterwards Reed went to study at the Baxter Building think tank, and a decade later he finally did visit another plane of existence, becoming the hero "Mister Fantastic", but he didn't take Enid, breaking his promise. A few months later, however, the alchemist Diablo tried to distill the elixir of life, using Enid as a conduit to her own time, channeling the potentially world-destroying mystical energies released as a byproduct into the future. Discovering this, Reed blew up the portal, disrupting the spell; while most of the energy had passed harmlessly through Enid, some had "soaked in" and Enid accidentally fried Diablo to ashes with her touch. After returning to the modern day, Enid stayed in quarantine with the FF for a while, enjoying her new superhuman status and "shiny hands". Along with the rest of Earth, she was mind-controlled by Revka Termellune, the "Psycho-Man", becoming his favorite subject, but she was eventually rescued by the team.[1]
Enid apparently died when her brother Reed detonated his parents' home, with Enid and her parents present.[2]Attributes
