I am myself...but you may call me "Entea."

Entea (Earth-616)[source]

History

Origin[]

When Elder of the Universe Ord Zyonz arrived on Euphoria, he became fascinated with its sprawling gardens, and when Euphoria expressed dismay at being unable to imagine life elsewhere, he offered to show her, which resulted in a small seed being created. The Gardener kept the moon after the machinations of the Grandmaster, when the latter had teleported the planet[1], and, in a bout of space madness, the Gardener planted that seed.[2]

vs the Agents of Wakanda[]

Agents Broo and Gorilla-Man sent word to T'Challa that there was something unusual happening on the moon, saying that the moon was hungry. T'Challa, Man-Wolf, Mockingbird, and Okoye arrived to investigate the coordinates, where they were attacked by vines.[3]

As T'Challa moved deeper into the vegetation, he encountered spores, from which he was protected due to his respiration unit, but found Broo and Gorilla-Man in a state of pleasant dreaming within an unknown liquid. He then discovered that the vines were sapping energy from the Wakandan spacecraft, and set the spacecraft to self-destruct.[3]

This only served to anger Entea, who had captured Okoye and Man-Wolf, now trapped as well within the liquid chambers. T'Challa, recognizing that the parasite was speaking, tuned his translator to attempt to decipher her cries of anguish, and she introduced herself, and with some intensity, declared that there was no sustenance on the moon and that she was very hungry. Sensing Man-Wolf's Godstone, she focused her attention and attacks on him, but calmed after he voluntarily gave her some of its energy. Man-Wolf then offered to transport her to Other Realm, where there was plentiful energy. Unfortunately, Other Realm was in ruins, and this caused Entea visible concern, and as they looked at the ruins, Entea sensed a potential for life to return, stimulating it with some of her own meager energies. She volunteered to stay there to make sure it once again thrived, bidding farewell to the Agents of Wakanda as they went safely home.[2]

Shapeshifting: Entea can take humanoid form, with pink-blossoming vines for hair and green skin. She can also assume a semi-humanoid form, with roots rather than legs, and a much less humanoid face, particularly when angry.[2]
