History
Doctor Eric Karlin was a Nazi scientist that was active during World War II. In 1942, he was dispatched to America to eliminate primary American citizens and also attempt to steal Nazi funds that were frozen in American banks following the outbreak of the war. Using his hypnotic ability, Karlin amassed an army of slaves that brought his enemies to him so that he could dump them in a vat of acid. The sadistic doctor then gathered up the remains of his victims and kept them in jars as trophies.
When he was ready to break into the Federal Reserve Bank that held the locked Nazi funds, he stashed the bodies at the museum next door, replacing the bodies of recently recovered ancient Mongolian Aboriginals that were to be cast in plaster and put on display. Unfortunately for Dr. Karlin, this museum was the work place for Elton Morrow who was secretly the costumed hero known as the Blue Diamond. When his minions rose up from the slab and broke into the Federal Reserve, Morrow stopped them.
Learning of Karlin's involvement, the Blue Diamond confronted Eric at his lab, and in their struggle against each other, Karlin ended up falling into the same vat of acid that claimed so many of his victims.[1]
