History

Erik Czerny was prince of Myridia in the 21st century. Czerny went looking for the mysterious "Shadows" who secretly ruled the world and governed the flow of information and technology beyond the MegaCorps. He was drawn into one of the "games" between Victor von Doom and Margaretta von Geisterstadt, the Neon Angel. Margaretta disabled Doom and Czerny, then used her machines to exchange their minds with one another, leaving both convinced they were the true Doctor Doom. Doom, in Czerny's body, was released back into the world while Margaretta kept Erik by her side, convinced he was the real Doom involved in Margaretta's games with the "false Doom".
