History
Eudora was a Atlantean scientist that accompanied the former Atlantean king Namor to the underwater human colony Dry Man's Land. Eudora tried to help the humans suffering in Dry Man's Land by converting an Atlantean power generator that only operated underwater to run on dry land but was so far unsuccessful. She then accompanied Namor and Captain America to New York City and witnessed a fight break out between the citizenry and Namor's guards.[1]
The fight ended when the Human Torch unexpectedly appeared. Eudora told Namor that the Torch's power to ignite could be used to solve the human colonies' energy woes. Namor and Luke Cage decided to go after the Torch while Eudora tracked the Torch's movements. Eudora was able to locate the Torch's location to what remained of the country of Latveria and reported this to Namor.[3]
While experimenting with the Human Torch's molecules, she was suddenly grabbed by the Awesome Android who forcibly took her to the surface so she would suffocate. Using the Human Torch's molecules, Eudora hit the Android with fire, allowing her to escape. Eudora fled to Dry Man's Land and met with Captain America. She then contacted Namor and told him what happened to her.[4]
After learning from Namor that the Torch posed no threat, she briefly talked with Captain America about his past with Namor and the Torch. Later, Dry Man's Man was destroyed by Machine Man. Only Eudora survived the attack and informed Namor what happened.[2]
It was later discovered that the robots' attacks were the work of Attuma who reprogrammed the robots to launch the attacks as an excuse to wage war on the surface. Attuma was killed, but Namor was also exiled from Atlantis by Queen Namorita. Eudora chose to join Namor in Latveria to help him and his allies rebuild society on the surface.[5]
