Eugene Judd is Captain Logan's first mate, who helped Thomas Halloway and Scott "Cyclops" Summers in obtaining the Gem of Cyttorak when working for Cain Marko. While laying low in Madripoor, Eugene and his friends were shocked by Marko's bizarre death in which Eugene believed it to be the curse of Cyttorak, a fact that he then realized that he was solely responsible for stealing the gem and mocking Cyttorak, believing that he would be punished by the avatar "The Juggernaut" until being gripped by Logan. Judd continued to help Halloway and the others in finding the gem and eventually being arrested by O*N*E*. Eugene and Logan were then transferred to Genosha Bay Prison.[1]
