Notes
- Ex-mutants was an independent comic created by writer David Lawrence and artist Ron Lim. It was first published by Eternity Comics, and other publishers after it (Amazing, Pied Piper, Malibu), After a legal dispute with Malibu comics, this latter company claimed rights to the copyright of the property and the characters (the creators shared the ownership) Malibu published a shared universe of their own called "Shattered Earth" and later published a rebooted version with new characters. Whe Marvel bought Malibu in 1994, they inherited the same rights as Malibu to the property (original and reboot), so that's the reason why Marvel Database covers their pre-Malibu appearances (for similar case, see Marvelman).
- Issues #6 and 7 were reprints by Malibu from Pied Piper "Lawrence & Lim's Ex-Mutants" issues 6 and 7, with additional material. The Issue 8 wasn't reprinted by Malibu, but its events are referenced in the sequel series by Malibu. "EX-Mutants: The Shattered Earth Chronicles"
