Synopsis for "Easy Tiger"
Investigating the demise of Wisdom's close friend and fellow agent within the Black Air organization, Kitty Pryde and Wisdom delve deeper into the subject of Dream Nails, uncovering hints of extraterrestrial involvement. In the process, Kitty gains enlightening insights about Wisdom from his associate Jardine, leading to the gradual development of romantic feelings between her and Wisdom. Despite Wisdom's objections, Kitty insists on breaking into Dream Nails with him. Everything goes rather smoothly and they retrieve information indicating that Culley was exposed to alien bacteria. Just as Wisdom and Kitty are on the verge of sharing a kiss, their cover is compromised, resulting in Wisdom being captured. He instructs Kitty to retreat by using her phasing powers – a command she obeys, albeit reluctantly.
On Muir Island, Amanda Sefton has returned and she learns that Rory Campbell is psychoanalyzing the mutant Spoor. When Nightcrawler inquires about her concerns, she sidesteps the topic to honor her commitment to Rory, who is grappling with visions of a future where he becomes the mutant hunter Ahab.
Meanwhile, Moira MacTaggert's efforts to discern a pattern behind the contraction of the Legacy Virus yield no fruit. Instead it is Meggan and Douglock who come up with a solution. Both possess an innate abiliity to comprehend patterns and they conclude that the virus is acting as chaotic as its inventor Stryfe, i.e. any infection is totally random.
