Synopsis for "I Want You"
Colossus has arrived at the Muir Island Research Center and is met with a distressing sight: Kitty Pryde, his former girlfriend, in the arms of Peter Wisdom. Despite her happiness, Kitty can't bring herself to express her emotions fully. She catches up with her empathic friend Meggan, who admits that Wisdom isn't as bad as she initially thought.
Meanwhile, Wisdom in the last second realizes somebody is charging at him. Wisdom dodges Colossus's steel fist, which crashes into a wall. Colossus introduces himself and declares his intent: to reclaim his beloved Katya from Wisdom. He blames Wisdom for taking her away. An intense brawl erupts between them, with Colossus pummeling Wisdom, who lacks any protective mutant powers. Despite his injuries, Wisdom refuses to pass out and fires his "hot knives" back at his attacker.
Inside the research station, Kitty senses something amiss and rushes outside. Before collapsing, Wisdom unleashes a full-power blast at Colossus's lower back. Both mutants are immediately brought into the medlab where Moira MacTaggert tends to them. Colossus has severe spinal trauma, while Wisdom has multiple injuries endangering his life.
Hours pass, and Colossus awakens in a cell with a mutant power inhibitor collar. Moira admonishes his reckless behavior, then Nightcrawler explains the situation to Colossus, revealing Wisdom's newfound role in Excalibur and Kitty's feelings for him. Colossus begins to protest but eventually admits that his jealousy and frustration led to his actions. Nightcrawler suggests he rest and regain emotional control, proposing a cover story for his stay with Excalibur.
Finally, Kitty confronts Colossus, expressing her disappointment and anger. She acknowledges his struggles involving the death of Ilyana and his parents, but makes it clear she's moved on to a good man.
