History
An artifact of ultimate power, the Eye of Yin was sought by the Mandarin. It was at a dig sight somewhere in Asia that he found the Temple of Yin and battled the Inhumans. He eventually managed to tap into the eye's power and absorb it into his rings, but after his defeat at the hands of the Inhumans his rings were left buried in the temple.[1]
After some time the Mandarin depressed due to the loss of his rings would travel back to the ship of Axonn-Karr where he'd discover and use the Yin Headband of Power to located and transport his rings back to him in a blink of an eye. This transportation somehow caused the rings to lose the absorbed power of the Eye of Yin.[2]
