History
Colonel Strang is an entrepreneur who controlled the pressman's union and the drivers,[1] as well as chicken stands.[2] Strang was described as a corporate raider who attemped takeovers of companies.[3]
He was once impersonated by Wolfgang von Strucker.[4] Later, Strang obtained parts of Kingpin's legitimate businesses.[1]
Later, the real Strang interfered with J. Jonah Jameson's work in the Daily Bugle, wanting to force Jameson to sell him the newspaper, by threatening to use his influences to stop the distribution of it. James temporarily stopped the Bugle operation, keeping his workers outside of the building (which led to Ben Urich trying to access sneakily to his own files with the help of intern Sara Harrington,[1] who in turn discovered Daredevil's secretly identity, deciding to expose it[3] and leading to Daredevil faking his own death).[5][6] Eventually, Jameson cut his own deal with the union leaders, which put a stop Strang's plans.
