Synopsis for "Runaway"
Roberto DeCosta is playing soccer with the rest of the New Mutants. As the game heats up, the trash talk between Roberto and his best friend Sam gets more intense. Sam closes in on a goal, and the two collapse into each other, triggering Roberto to become Sunspot and through Sam off him. Sam hits a tree, and the whole team is worried about his life. Out of fear, the team lashes out at Roberto.
Meanwhile, Magneto reaches out to Moira McTaggert for help with the student report cards. He responds to the alarm of the young mutants.
In the chaos of the situation, Roberto slips past the group and goes back to the mansion where he sees his report card. Dismayed and feeling isolated, he decides to leave.
Back in Manhatten, Roberto runs into a young lady, Chance, who has also run away, but from the Reverend Yune Kim Park and the Glorification Church.
Chance soon finds herself in trouble, and as Roberto tries to rescue her, he finds himself in some trouble as well.
