History
A petty criminal living in Hawai'i, Falo and his friends attempted to rob a vacationing couple, but he was attacked by a taotie created by Chieftain Xin to hunt down those who possessed the blood of Zheng Zu. Falo was saved by Zu's children Shang-Chi, Sister Dagger, and Sister Staff, who destroyed the taotie. As they took Falo to the authorities, the siblings discovered that Falo was a descendant of their father and a distant relative of theirs. Falo made a pass at Sister Staff but was threatened by Sister Dagger, who revealed his heritage and their familial relationship to him. As the police led him away, Falo reveled in the fact that his ancestor was the "greatest supervillain ever".[2]
Falo was recruited by several disgruntled members of the Five Weapons Society to help recover Zheng Zu's remains from his temple in China. After Falo dug up Zu's bones, the group double crossed and tied him up, as they needed his blood for their ritual to summon a younger Zu at the height of his power from the past. Shang-Chi and his siblings tried to stop the ritual but the group leader spilled a drop of Falo's blood into a magic urn, creating a portal to the past. Shang-Chi jumped into the portal and closed it but was trapped in the past. After the traitors were defeated, Sister Dagger used Falo's blood to summon Shang-Chi back to the present.[1]Paraphernalia
