History

When Galactus arrived to Earth, the Fantastic Four investigated him. The Thing rushed into action and was unceremoniously slain by the world devourer. Consumed by anger and sorrow, Reed listened to no one and moved to simply trying to kill Galactus to no avail.

Following Galactus' defeat at the hands of Doctor Doom, Reed was further scarred emotionally, and the Invisible Woman left him not long afterwards. The Human Torch was also gone, with Reed once commenting many years later that if he were back on Earth, that would mean they'd all be dead.
