Two robbers flee a crime scene and head towards the woods. One falls, breaking his leg, and the other ruthlessly shoots him as his identity may be found out by the police. Stopping at an abandoned house, the man sees two ghosts, but finds out they are creatures from another dimension, who can't touch him. The man laughs at the situation, imagining other people who have run from the house, believing it to be haunted. The creatures say that perhaps it was wise for them to run, as the man discovers when the police come into the house and he realizes he is trapped eternally between the two dimensions.
A man messes with his TV and it picks up battle between alien-looking creatures. The man assumes that he must have tuned into the events upon some other planet, but what the TV has actually shown him was a colony of black ants being attacked and destroyed by a colony of red ants right outside his window.
An alien race wants to invade Earth, but before they do so they send a scout down to find out all the U.S.' military secrets. Transferring his mind into a robot, the alien dazzles the humans until he is taken to Washington to be inspected. While he is being examined by day, he spies on the military at night, until one day, gathering all that they can from the robot, a scientist presses a button on its head, deactivating it and trapping the alien in the robot's body forever.
A man, finding an odd camera lying in the street, is convinced that he has seen another dimension after he develops the pictures he has taken, as they show a futuristic city and people. Telling the first person he sees, the man does not believe him and suddenly a thunderstorm rolls in. A bolt of lightning strikes close to them and a hand emerges from what seems to be a force-field and grabs the camera. The man he had been talking to has disappeared and the first man walks away confused. On another planet, the second man is seen showing photos of Earth to a futuristic man, who doesn't believe that another dimension can exist.
A human colleague warns his friends to give up their dangerous time travel experiments lest they alter the entirety of recorded history. He leaves, and the two scientists scoff at his warning since they are unshaken in their belief that the past cannot be changed. They send a camera back to the earliest beginnings of life where it bonks a creature on the head that was just beginning to emerge from a tide pool knocking it back into the water. When they recover the camera in their present and examine its records, they state, "The professor was wrong! Nothing has changed! We knew that the present could never be affected by what happens in the past! And we were right, as usual!" (The last panel shows the two scientists are now reptilian creatures.)
