History
Fantomex 5 was a relative of the original Fantomex, created between the first and the second of the "Last Wars." He was among those who survived the cataclysm that scorched the Earth and covered it in lethal radiation.[1] The few survivors relocated to an underground faclity located under New York City where their numbers slowly dwindled until in 2051 A.D. Carol Danvers defeated a creature that besieged them and restarted the Sun at the cost of her own life.[2]
By the following year, the survivors had started regaining the surface. They also learned of the existence of other groups of survivors, namely one led by Ove. After Fantomex 5 and Sora came across a time-displaced younger Captain Marvel, plucked from the timeline of Earth-616 due to the machinations of Ove,[3] he sent a mind-controlled Luke Cage to deliver an invite to his haven, New Atlantis. Fantomex 5 was one of the survivors tasked by Captain Marvel with staying at their quarters in case the invitation was meant to lure away the survivors from their base.[1] Following Ove's departure to the past and the liberation of New Atlantis, the rest of the survivors moved there and Captain Marvel was sent back to her time.[4]Attributes
