A writer takes his family to Bayou country to begin work on a new novel, but his son encounters a monster in the swamp. The monster is distracted when an alligator bites his leg, so the father and son flee while the monster finishes off the gator. The man drives into town to warn the sheriff, but is scoffed at, until a neighbor backs up his story. When the monster arrives, they find their weapons ineffective, but the creature shies away from fire, and so they drive it back to the quicksand bog in the swamp. Unknown to everyone involved, the creature meant no harm, and was merely seeking aid to repair his damaged spacecraft sunk under the bog.

An alien comes to Earth with the purpose of invading but after scouting out the planet for 24 hours he finds that the kindness, compassion, and love he witnesses changes his heart. Changed, Mool instead chooses to destroy the Astro-Energizer that would have acted as the signal to invade, without that signal his people would hopefully never attempt to conquer Earth.

A criminal finds a genie in a bottle and sets out to make himself ruler over all. He wishes for a golden castle, a flying horse, that the Atlantic dry up, and that the sun be blotted out. While the genie is finishing the last task, he gets the idea to trade places with the genie so he has all the power, and that is what he wishes for when the genie returns. The genie complies and the criminal decides to eliminate the genie as his first empowered act. The genie, now a mortal, commands him to halt and he is astonished when he cannot move. The genie informs him that he obeyed his commands not because he wanted to, but because he was impelled to as part of the curse. The genie was once an evil man, but has since repented, and undoes all the previous harmful wishes while commanding that the criminal return to the bottle where someday, he too, may repent of an ill-spent life.

Two scientists work on developing a youth serum, when they succeed, the older scientist forces the younger one into the freezer at gunpoint as he has no intention of sharing the boon with mankind. Instead, he wants to become immortal, accumulate more knowledge than anyone else and rule the world. Before the incarcerated scientist freezes to death, he manages to set off an alarm which brings the police. Since there is no sign of the old man, the police do not believe his story about a youth serum, but he knows that the formula must have worked too well taking the old man back to middle age, then young man, then child, then infant, then...?

Synopsis for "Something Lurks Inside!"

A space explorer lands on a planet he designates Planet X but finds it infested with vicious spider-creatures. He hurries back to his ship, but even sealed inside the smaller creatures have managed to use radio waves as a means of travel to make their way inside. The pilot flushes them to the surface of the craft, but not before one bites him, giving him an incurable fatal disease. He returns to Earth to warn them, but he cannot land because the creatures on the hull still live despite his efforts to kill them, and he cannot radio because the aliens could use the signal to arrive on Earth. He goes into orbit around Earth, refusing to respond to hailing frequencies, and this spooks the authorities so they launch a missile at him. Before the missile strikes, he jettisons his log in an escape pod. Once the people of Earth read his log, they realize he was a hero.

The entire world is on a man hunt for a man named Kartu who has gone into hiding in a remote cave in Virginia. He explains he thought he was an alien who arrived here by a Thought transmitter and that another planet is going to crash into the earth and he goes to warn the authorities. They assume him crazy but before he can be properly confined he escapes, however a planet does crash into a different planet and they believe his story about being an alien. However by this time Kartu is beginning to believe them that he's not and has gone into deep hiding never to be found.

Duke Jordan escapes from prison after 10 years of his 30 year sentence. As he's attempting to flee he is pursued by a cop who performs greater than human feats. After grabbing the cop's gun and shooting him Duke learns that all police have been replaced by robots and that the bullets did nothing to harm the officer.

An archaeologist discovers a giant mummy buried in the Egyptian desert, who goes on a rampage appearing to be searching for every normal sized mummy in the local area. After the mummy disappears in a sandstorm it is revealed that the mummy is in fact an alien who works in the intergalactic missing person bureau. The mummy look is just their space suits and they were trying to find any missing aliens on earth.
