History

Felicia Hardy's life presumably mirrored that of her Earth-616 counterpart, up to the point where she left for Europe after double crossing the Foreigner.

After Peter Parker broke off his wedding to Mary Jane Watson, he sent a letter to Black Cat's last known address and they rekindled their relationship. However, her aggressive fighting was a point of contention in their relationship.

When Kraven drugged Spider-Man and took his suit, Black Cat attacked and subdued him, digging Peter from the grave to find him still breathing. They go on to confront other costumed villains and shortly after, Peter proposed to her and she accepted.

Their relationship did not go unnoticed by the public, and it reached the headlines. Wondering if Felicia was the reason Peter left her at the altar, Mary Jane called Peter. However, Felicia was the one who answered the phone and abruptly hung up on her. In a fit of jealousy, she left to intimidate Mary Jane in person, unknowingly tipping off an informant of the Vulture to Spider-Man's secret identity.

The two were married, but more issues arose with Felicia having a public identity and Peter's secret identity. While Spider-Man tried to rescue Aunt May, the Vulture gassed Black Cat and tried to kill her. Spider-Man arrived and beat Vulture nearly to death, but was stopped by Silver Sable and her team who had been tracking the Vulture.

Black Cat admitted to her confrontation with Mary Jane, leaving Spider-Man feeling betrayed. In an effort to fix her mistake, she broke into Ryker's Island and killed the Vulture. Thinking it was Spider-Man, Silver Sable cornered him near Mary Jane's apartment. Seeing the commotion, she tried to vouch for his character, but a fight broke out and she was nearly hit in the crossfire. Black Cat rescued her and confessed to killing Vulture.

Paladin, misunderstanding Cat's intentions with Mary Jane, fired on her. As she lay dying in Spider-Man's arms, she said that his secret was safe again and that she loves him.
