History

Felicia Hardy was trained by her father, Walter Hardy, to become a master thief. After her father was sent to prison, Felicia started her career under the alias Black Cat.

She came in conflict with the vigilante Spider-Man. The two became friends and their kinship showed Black Cat the error of her ways. She became a superhero, although she often still indulged in her stealing ways.

Black Cat and Spider-Man

When the Multiversal Sinister Six invaded Earth-TRN461, Black Cat decided to help people. She contacted Spider-Man through social media, alerting him to emergencies across New York City and occasionally assisting him in the field. She was eventually recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D. into the Spider-Men, a team of interdimensional Spider-Man analogs assembled to battle the Sinister Six.

With the Spider-Men

After the fall of the Goblin Nation, Black Cat filled the power vacuum by creating her own criminal empire. She and the rest of her gang were forcefully assimilated into the Inklings by Maniac, who infected the gang with pieces of his symbiote, the Mania Symbiote.

Through unknown means, Felicia would be freed from Mania's control. She assisted Spider-Man 2099 in stealing the Time Stone from the Alchemax Building.[1]
