History
The Adap-Tor was a transformable weaponized vehicle sent by Justin Hammer to Tony Stark. It was sent anonymously to Stark Enterprises Headquarters and Jim Rhose climbed in and activated it. However, the Adap-Tor trapped him inside, and went on a rampage across Stark Enterprises. Iron Man attempted to stop it but didn't want to risk injuring Rhodes. The Adap-Tor activated its self destruct count-down and headed to the reactor of the power plant. Realizing that an explosion could kill hundreds of people in his plant, Iron Man prepared to destroy the Adap-Tor. However, Rhodes managed to deactivate the Adap-Tor.[1]
