Synopsis for "Family Matters: Part Two"

At the Connor's home, Billy in his room texts his friend that he's grounded again as his friend still wants him at the birthday party as nobody believes he's real. But as Curt wants to talk with him, Billy refuses to let them in and Martha advises he be patient until Billy lets them in, only for Billy to sneak out to go to a birthday party for an old schoolmate.

At the restaurant, Spider-Man frantically scours the rubble to find his aunt alive, before beating up Taskmaster and throwing him out. Humiliated, Taskmaster and Black Ant decide to leave with the captured Rhino screaming swearing revenge for Spider-Man's abandoning him. Finding Aunt May, Spider-Man sees she is gathering people together before he lifts away the rubble to allow their escape. Making a web net to help people climb out, but as May helps Brett, the homeless man pushes May and Brett out of the way of the collapsing ceiling. Getting May out, Spider-Man goes back to find the homeless man, and recognizes he is Ned Leeds. His dying words to Spider-Man are to protect Betty, but he dies before saying why. Afterwards, May gives Ned a burial as best she can on her budget, and Peter opts not to tell Betty to spare her the pain of hearing Ned died again.

Later on, Randy Robertson meets with May, looking to clean up and restore the FEAST shelters in spite of Martin Li's past and hoping to change them for the better. Meanwhile, the captured Rhino is delivered to a holding cell under Arcade, who notices the animal theme of the captured super criminals. But going over the numbers, Arcade asks for Kraven's certainty in continuing, before showing him the final piece of what he ordered: a miniature variant of the Planetary Defense Shield. Given that it was able to withstand every cosmic level hero, Arcade assures Kraven his property in Africa will be well secured, with the hunter correcting him that the destination won't be his home, but in New York City.
