I'm happy because, as Spider-Man, I can find the meaning and purpose I'm missing. Because I know I can make a positive difference in the world. There were times in the past, in that dream-life I lived before, when I thought being Spider-Man was a curse. But now I see, so clearly... that it's a blessing.

- This story is difficult to place chronologically. It briefly but directly references the events of Spider-Man: Redemption, wherein Janine and Kaine were arrested. However, that miniseries definitely occurs after Peter and Mary Jane had returned to New York, following their brief tenure in Portland. This story is set in a time period where Peter and Mary Jane still live in Portland, yet references events that occurred later. Thus far, the only way this series can work is if that reference is ignored.
- The unlettered preview pages showed Sir on one of the monitors in Doctor Ashley Kafka's office; the character is absent, with the monitor now just being blank, in the printed version of the issue.
