Synopsis for ""Civil War: The Initiative""
Following the Civil War, Tony Stark flies back to Avengers Tower. While in Canada, Sasquatch questions Michael Pointer about his involvement in the death of his comrades in Alpha Flight. Finding that Pointer is repentant of his actions, Langkowski gives him the uniform of the Guardian and makes him join up with Canada's newest superteam: Omega Flight.
While back in the states, the latest incarnation of Hurricane is hunted down and killed by the latest assembly of the Thunderbolts which consist of Songbird, Radioactive Man, Venom, Green Goblin, Swordsman, Moonstone, Penance, and Bullseye.
Returning back to Avengers Tower, Stark is met by Ms. Marvel who recounts for him that she had run into Spider-Woman who was battling the zGrey Gargoyle. The two would work together to defeat the foe, and Carol would ultimately let Spider Woman go, after trying to convince her to turn herself in.
After being told the story, Iron Man returns inside where he is inspired by Jarvis to start selecting other heroes for a new team of Avengers.
