History

Despite being asked by Conan,[1] the exact circumstances that led to the necromancer Vacharn living on the lonely isle of Na'at are unknown.

Vacharn included his family to be of the people of Zothique, who fled Atlantis to the continents westwards (Zothique, or Mayapan) after the Great Cataclysm.[1]

Naat was one of many names and words of the ancient tongues, used in an incantation from the scroll of Chthon, "Xiccarph Ansarth Chaon Gacca Zul-Bah-Sair Phariom Mordiggian Naat Yadar Obexah Mordiggiom", that would cast a blinding burst, while having the scroll vanish.[2]
