When all except Jara had suicide after their god Veeda Leebre had been taken and imprisoned into the Desecration Annex by the Godstalker under a Celestial decree.[1]
Jara travelled to Calculex to find the God-slayer, Captain Marvel. Once Genis-Vell and her back to Carmondy IV, she presented to him the fields of corpses of her planet, making him to to the Celestial prison to free Veeda Leebre.[2]
Full of sadness, the god used Jara belief to restore Carmondy IV and it population. Jara, unknowing of this event, lived an happy life with her husband Balb and two children, but was perturbed. Genis-Vell, refusing to let the Carmondians live a fake life, managed to make Jara lost her faith in Veeda Leebre, fading his powers and manipulations. Jara ultimately committed suicide, and Genis left the planet, leaving Veeda devastated among the corpses of his past followers.[3]
