History
The Molecular Disruptor was an experimental Rigellian weapon. General Zygo whose attempted coup against the Rigellian Grand Commissioner had been crushed by Thanos believed the weapon would be able to kill Thanos. He never got the chance to find out as Thanos exterminated Zygo.[1]
