History
Once an interplanetary ship, travelling from orbit to orbit as a hub of Tiding-fly breeding, the Observer's Berth was stuck drifting listless through the vacuum of the Ninth Cosmos after the Breaker-Apart destroyed all planets and stars in its locale.
A sole survivor, Farys, in an effort to undo the destruction of most life in the cosmos bred a special Tiding-fly with the intent to send information into the distant past. This fly was entrusted to Par%l, Farys' former lover, who took it to O%los just prior to its destruction.
As Par%l left the Berth, all the lights went out, a sign of Farys' passing, as well as the finality of the Cosmos' dire situation.[1]
