Rico Estevez was a Public Eye sergeant.[1] He was fired by Tyler Stone after he tried to kill Spider-Man.[2] For losing his job, he was also evicted and stripped of all his possessions.[3] He was later approached by Angela Daskalakis.[4] She took him to the indy town of Nightshade.[5] In Nightshade he was subjected to experimental treatments that transformed him into Travesty.[6]
