Doctor Strange lived on Earth-TRN885, which was settled by Asgardian refugees who lost their home in Ragnarok and renamed Midgardia. The Convergence later merged Midgardia into the Primary Earth. Along with other counterparts of himself, including Stranges from Omega Flight Squads 3 and 13, he came up with the idea of bringing back the World Tree Yggdrasill as a possible solution to Convergence. However, when time came to reclaim the only remaining Seed of the World Tree, Laufey and his Frost Giants attacked Midgardia, spreading deadly cold from the Casket of Ancient Winters. Strange created a magical barrier to save some of those who were fighting against the Frost Giants from the certain death and was forced to keep that barrier up to prevent all of Primary Earth from plunging into endless winter. After Loki closed the Casket, seemingly costing him his life, Strange from Midgardia and Strange from Omega Squad 13 showed up to receive the Seed of the World Tree from Thor.
He later joined his counterparts to oppose the shared threat of Thanos from Earth-210. He helped Omega Flight locate and stop Thanos when he intruded upon Midgardia and later was assisted by other versions of himself from New Stark City, Hydra Empire, Xandearth and Sakaar in binding Thanos with Crimson Bands of Cyttorak and pushing him out of Primary Earth through a dimensional portal.[1]
