Synopsis for "The Return of Cyclops"
Early in his career as a superhero, Cyclops saved the life of a young man who pledges that he will do anything he can to repay him. A decade later, a time-traveling Cable commissions him to build a device that can siphon off Phoenix Force that will resurrect Cyclops in two years, when he is killed. The device works and he hero is brought back to life but Cable keeps him out of the public eye. He demands to be released and is confronted with either helping his fellow X-Men avert a possible disaster caused by X-Man or saving the engineer's family again from a renewed threat. He chooses to save the civilian and Cable feels confident that he has made the right choice in resurrecting his father.
