Commander Zarallo was the leader of the Free Companies mercenary band. After recruiting Conan, he marched the whole troop to Sukhmet, close to the Darfar border. He also recruited Valeria, but after she murdered Stygian officer, Captain Makhis, she forfeit his protection and had to leave the city.[1]
