History
The young man who bought the right to use the name of Firebug became a member of Tombstone's gang. He was sent to Lee Price's apartment to kill him after he had murdered several of Tombstone's men during a transaction job, unaware he had been able to accomplish that because he was the new Venom.
Firebug burned down Lee's apartment and called his boss to report back, but was caught by surprise when Lee transformed into Venom. Venom then tackled Firebug through a window and into an alleyway.[1] Venom was stopped from killing Firebug by FBI Agent Wambaugh. Firebug took advantage of the distraction caused by Wambaugh's arrival to attack Venom in an attempt to get him to let go his arm. In retaliation, Venom smashed him into a nearby wall, seemingly killing him.[2]Attributes
Powers
Pyrokinesis: Firebug has the ability to psionically generate, control, and manipulate fire, to which he was immune.[2] He is able to control any fire within his line of sight and shape it into anything he can imagine. Firebug is able to control the color of his fire as well as the intensity of it. Any fire he controls will turn back to normal flames when he turns his attention away from it. Firebug can also put out any fire within his line of sight.
Superhuman Durability: Firebug appeared to possess some degree of superhuman durability, surviving being tackled through a wall and into the ground several floors below.[2]See Also
