History

The Firepower Armor is a human piloted battle suit equipped with various weapons. The suit contains a particle cannon on its wrist as well as heat beams, lasers, mini-grenades and surface-to-air missiles. The suit’s main weapon is the high energy, low radiation missile known as the Terminax. The suit is also air conditioned to prevent discomfort for the operator. The first pilot Jack Taggert described the suit as a "two-ton tuxedo" as compared to Iron Man's Armor the suit is large and the pilot has to be lifted into it with a crane.[citation needed]

Capabilities[]

  • Superhuman Durability: The armor is modularly aligned crystallized iron over a base of titanium nitride with finely tassellated mail, which can minimize sudden compression by radically dissipating the energy throughout the armor. The armor can reboot in 14 seconds after being hit by an EMP attack.[1]
  • Superhuman Strength: Powered by high density solar-powered batteries, it grants superhuman strength enabling to lift up to 100 tons.[1]
  • Flight: Its jets boots can propel the armor at speeds up to 250 mph.[1]
  • Air Supply: The armor features an air supply that lasts for over an hour.[1]
  • Sensors: The armor features radar, environment and targeting sensors.[1]
  • Radio: The armor features a sophisticated radio communication array.[1]
  • Autopilot: The armor features a computerized autopilot.[1]
  • Arsenal: The armor is equipped with multiple weapons.[1]
    • Missiles: Surface-to-air missiles with radar locks.[1]
    • Energy Weapons: Wide-beam heat lasers and particle cannons.[1]
    • Grenades: Mini-grenades with radar locks.[1]
    • Terminax: A small, high energy, low radiation tactical nuclear weapon.[1]
