History
Flint Marko was one of the Crime Master's henchmen who earned the name the "Sandman" for brutally killing his victims with his fists. Marko was affiliated in transporting African-American immigrants to Ellis Island for Dr. Otto Octavius' experiments. He was later among Crime Master's men set against Spider-Man, during which Marko showed that he was resilient to the vigilante's blows. Marko proceeded to savagely beat up a subdued Spider-Man before being stopped and shot by federal agent Jean De Wolfe. This didn't immediately kill Marko until he was gunned down repeatedly by Wolfe and his men, when they completely emptied their weapons into him.[1]
