History
The rabbit known as Floor was a test subject of the High Evolutionary as part of his experiments to create a perfect society, belonging to Batch-89. He experimented on her on his planet, Counter-Earth, removing her mouth, giving her metal antenna, and spider-like mechanical legs that protruded from her back, as her normal legs weren’t functional.
While trapped on Counter-Earth, Floor made some friends in the walrus Teefs, the otter Lylla, and the raccoon Rocket. The four raised each others’ spirits, holding out hope of rescue, escape, or just things getting better in general.
However, once Rocket learned that Batch 89 were to be disposed of, he staged a breakout for himself and his friends using a keycard of his own design. Immediately after being freed, Lylla had just enough time to hug Rocket before she was shot and killed by the Evolutionary, with Teefs and Floor dying soon after in the ensuing firefight between Rocket and the citadel's guards.[1]Notes
- Mikaela Hoover portrays Floor in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
- Floor seems to have been inspired by Blackjack O'Hare, a rabbit associate of Rocket Raccoon’s from Earth-616.
