Abominatrix was a gamma mutate with perpetual premenstrual syndrome (PMS).

History

Florence Sharples was the manager at a saving and loan company owned by Jasper Keaton. She was chosen as a medical test subject for a cure for premenstrual syndrome (PMS) using gamma rays. Instead, the treatment changed Sharples into the Abominatrix, a gamma mutate with perpetual PMS.

As Abominatrix, Sharples continued to work for Jasper Keaton, but now as an enforcer along with Captain Rectitude. Abominatrix was frequently tasked with abducting hostages. Under Keaton's direction, Abominatrix kidnapped Louise "Weezi" Mason to discover the location of a secret nuclear warhead from the 1940s. Kidnapping Weezi brought Abominatrix into direct conflict with She-Hulk. The paired battled across Las Vegas. Eventually, She-Hulk was able to subdue Abominatrix and throw the nuclear bomb into the desert where it detonated a safe distance for any civilians.
