History
The Fold is a secret cabal made up of members of the US political structure (including the military, Congress, and the Office of National Security) and members of criminal organizations.[1][2]
One of their agents, Daze, attempted to murder Senator Gaines. Daze's attempt was interrupted by Warrant and Daze died. Before dying, Daze claimed to have hypnotized a number of sleeper agents for the Fold's control.[1]
The Fold later partnered with Morelle Pharmaceuticals CEO Damon Morelle on the development of Project Sharksin - the development of artifical, weaponized skin. Morelle used the cabal's connections to help launch the satellite that hosted the project. When Morelle seemingly turned his back on the Fold, they sent a command to destroy the satellite.[3]
