History

Origin

This unidentified breed of Trolls is native of Asgard and have four arms.

Modern Days

A trio of renegade Trolls survived to the Ragnarök and wound up in the custody of Stripmine and Appraiser, two modern-days pirates.

They were used by Stripmine as "the muscle" to attack Excalibur on Genosha after the bombings of the X-Corp headquarters around the rim of the Indian Ocean (Mumbai, Singapore, and Nairobi), but were captured and imprisoned by the Genoshans.

Notes

Those Trolls were stated to be Asgardians in Excalibur (Vol. 3) #7's resume of Excalibur (Vol. 3) #5, then only presumed Excalibur (Vol. 3) #8's resume. They did use Asgard-based exclamations ("Blessed Norns" and "Surtur") in Excalibur (Vol. 3) #5. Their origin was revealed in the Trolls' entry of Thor: Asgard's Avenger #1.
