History
Frank Castle, Jr. was the youngest child (and only son) of US Marine Frank Castle. Frank Jr. (along with his mother and sister) was killed when the family witnessed a gangland execution in New York City's Central Park. This lead to Frank becoming the Punisher.[6]
Years later, the supernatural villain the Hood apparently resurrected Frank Jr. (along with his mother and sister) in a scheme to manipulate the Punisher. In response, the Punisher, saying they belonged to the dead, grabbed a flamethrower and burned his family (back) to death.[7]
After the Punisher joined the Hand, he had the Hand attempt to resurrect Frank Jr. and his sister, but because they had been dead longer they had been alive, their resurrections kept failing, leaving them deformed. Punisher eventually decided to end the resurrection attempts and mercifully killed Frank Jr. and his sister.[8]See Also
