Frank Springer was a Marvel comics artist working in the Dazzler series. During the Assistant Editors' Month -a timeframe when most editors left for the San Diego conventions, leaving the assistant editors theoretically in charge-, editor Ralph Macchio left his assistant Robert Harras in charge. Drunk with power, Harras rallied his team and insisted in implementing certain changes. Springer replied that everybody was satisfied with the current state of things, only for Harras to order Springer to stop drawing pin-up girls. Howeve, Macchio then phoned Harras and the later told all the employees that his new changes wouldn't be implemented.[1]
