Foggy defended Matt Murdock during his trial for murdering Wilson Fisk. Even though Foggy was able to bring in some excellent character witnesses like Captain America and Reed Richards, the jury couldn't get over the idea of a man entering your bedroom at night dressed like a devil and killing you. Matt was sentenced to 44 years in The Raft, and Foggy was eventually disbarred for his association with him.[1]
