—Nathaniel Richards[source]All of this came from Reed joining the Council--being part of all those Reeds trying to make better worlds. He left them because he refused to make the sacrifice each of them had--he refused to abandon those he loved for the greater cause. They put the well-being of the Multiverse ahead of the few...their families. It was a logical, rational choice--but the wrong one. See, Franklin figured it all out... The Council built suns and saved universes... They constructed great machines for good works...but because of their choice, there was one thing they were not capable of... There was one thing Reed could create that they could not. Look up at the life you made.
History
Origin: The Mad Celestials[]
In his reality, an invasion of the Mad Celestials caused a collapse of reality into a single timestream, Franklin and Valeria were apparently, along with Nathaniel Richards, the only survivors in this reality close to extinction.[citation needed]
Inferring with the past[]
Franklin made a plan with Valeria and Nathaniel to save their reality, travelling back in time and using his reality shifting powers to restore his past counterparts powers, as well as advising the past Valeria about things she had to do in order to save the future.[2]
After Nathaniel Richards battled his other counterparts in a game set by Immortus and remained as the last Reed Richards, Franklin forced him to travel back in time and help the Fantastic Four, at that time operating as part of the Future Foundation, to fight the alternate Reed Richards loose on Earth-616 and deal with the invasion of the Mad Celestials until he and Valeria could escape from the destruction of their reality and finish their plan. They arrived during Galactus' battle against the Mad Celestials and, using his powers, Franklin re-powered Galactus and destroyed the Celestials.[3]
After the reality was saved, he and Valeria joined the Future Foundation.[citation needed]Attributes
Powers

Described as beyond Omega
Reality Warping: The Mad Celestials described him as being Beyond Omega Classification.[4] He was also described by them as being a Universal Shaper,[4] and possessing reality distortion powers (or to be a reality distortion himself).[4]
Among other things, he was able to create a room out of nothing where Black Bolt was able to speak without danger and was able to turn off his grandfather's powers by shutting off the responsible parts of his brain.[5]
He was also able to teleport the Mad Celestials into a gas giant, withstand direct assault from them and even killed one by himself.[4] With the help of his younger self's powers, he was even capable of reviving Galactus and turning him into his herald.[4]Notes

Franklin and Hope?
- While the Human Machine is travelling through alternate timelines, this Franklin Richards can be seen holding hands with Hope Summers in the Days of Future Past timeline.[6] It is not clear why, as they have never interacted and they are not from that timeline. It might have been an artistic mistake for Rachel Summers and Franklin-811, who were a couple in that timeline.
Trivia
- Franklin insists on using female pronouns for the universe.[7] This is presumably referring to Captain Universe, who is portrayed as the "Mother" in Jonathan Hickman's other works.[8]
