History

Fred Morse was a banker to whom the inventor Eric Lund approached for financing for his invention of the wrist-worn thought communicator, but Morse seeing the object said that it was an interesting object but that he would not risk his bank's money for something of such dubious value, but to the reply of such words Lund said that this object would replace the use of the telephone and Morse mockingly replied that if he had reported this statement to his board of directors they would have laughed at him and thrown out of business.[1]
