Blob and Toad were hungry, they were offered street food by the X-Men, but they were undecided on what they wanted, the Avengers as rivals to the X-men, tried to one up them by offering the food Blob and Toad wanted themselves, which the X-Men repeatedly countered by offering something else they were interested in, after a few exchanges both teams ended up destroying each other food stands and a big brawl ensued.[1]
Blob was later seen as a member of the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.[2]
