Synopsis for "Buzzed"

A never-before-seen woman using the equipment and name of Wasp is flying around the inside of complex device and planting bombs, avoiding a state-of-the-art defense system. A flashback occurs, revealing that months ago the woman made her way to physicist Henry Pym's house in an attempt to meet him, only to hear the news when she was on his doorstep that Henry was killed in a fight with Ultron. The woman is distraught, but then shrinks down to a tiny size and runs underneath Pym's door, and regains her normal size when she makes it into Henry's lab where she justifies to herself that he would approve of her entering his lab and using his equipment to make a new Wasp outfit.

Flashing back to the present, the new Wasp finishes placing all of the bombs and sets them to be remotely detonated. Zooming out, it is revealed that the location in which she has been planting the elecric bombs is inside of the synthezoid the Vision, just as he blasted with a massive amount of energy.

Trivia

• Based on Jim Rhodes' gravestone as it appears in Invincible Iron Man #599 which indicated his day of passing, this issue takes place on June 8.
