Francois

During the liberation of Paris, Captain America sought Francois to be told where Peggy Carter was, and Francois replied that she had been captured by the Gestapo and that they had repeatedly tried to free her but to no avail.[2]

Joan was a member of the French Resistance who, with the help of Captain America, did her best to save her brother Jacques, but when she discovered that her brother was a traitor and a spy for the Nazis, she killed him.[3]
